Just wanted to give you an update on Jan's condition. It has not been such a bad week, her alertness is fading earlier and earlier, but thank goodness she has not had the type of day as she had earlier in the month. She has had some people visit this week and I think that may have given her more stimulation. Today I was off for a few hours so I went to visit a adult living community in North Richland Hills. It was very nice, complete with lots of amenities and very expensive. Oh well, it may not be what we are headed for anyway. I hope all of you are having a good month. Please pray for those families that have lost children that I mentioned earlier

Hi dear......what do you mean, may not be what we are headed for anyway? I had a friend who lost his wife in Feb and another who lost her Mom, my brother-in-law who lost his Dad to this very sad disease. But, like you have stated before, everyone is different. I know you said Jan deals well with the lady from the church coming to help...what about others? Would she let anyone stay with her for a couple of hours just to let you get out? You know I would be happy to do that some Sat or Sunday if I am available and w/o grandkids. You will are the only judge of the situation. Do you have my phone #? I lost your email addy w/the coming of a new computer. But, please call or write...when and if you can. Thanks for writing this. As hard as it is to find the time, I feel certain it is God's way of helping you to cope. All my love to you BOTH! Glenda
